“Worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do, but it gets you nowhere.” Glenn Turner
W hittles tirelessly away; making shards of my soul.
O verpowered by the width and depth of my fears.
R estricting peace, hope, and my very breath.
R eveals the “You of little faith” that I am.
Y ielding my illusion of control to God’s perfect plan is the only remedy.
Cindy, worry never stops a thing. I come from a family of worriers. Drove me crazy as I thought I should be one too. But when the worst happened, I realized that worrying would not have made a darn difference. I just hand it all over to God now. What will be will be and we are not in control. Concern is good, but worrying is useless. I hope no one has to learn that lesson the hard way like I did. xo
I can’t and don’t want to even imagine how devastating what you’ve been through is. I so love that you share your hard gained wisdom with me. I pray it doesn’t take tragedy for me to learn to trust. That’s my prayer! You are amazing!
